This last weekend I ended up in Ohio at a place called Hetch's Landing. This place is a great retirement location or a Home away from Home! It's a very large property! they also have a very large camping area. There are people that live there year round and those are the people I was there to help.

After a long weekend, we made it out very successfully! As a group we were able to assist many people from all over. Children were given bracelets, patches sewn, buttons fixed, AND a new product was created. Muskegon was so busy we got to work right away on Thursday, and didnt stop but to sleep. Sunday was slow but we were still out there!

New Shop Opening
I went to check on my shop today and they are just about done!!! I'm going to be there Wednesday morning and all day Thursday helping up with the finishing touches and then I'm going to start getting it ready for my business!!
Patches on the Vest
I sewed patches on this small vest thinking it belonged to a child. The customer sent me this photo, I laughed way too hard at this!
Medium Purse
This purse was the second purse I made from the same scrap as the "Small Purse". I had to make one better because I knew I could.
Front Pocket Wallet
This small wallet opens up for your bank cards and/or driver license, once it closes then you have space for your bills. It also has RFID blocking to protect your credit cards.
Wrist Wallet
Some customers liked the arm wallet but others it was too big, so let me introduce the wrist wallet.
Vest Extenders
Also known as "Fat Man Vest Extenders". A customer no longer fit into his vest but didn't want to get rid of it, so I found some leather material that was similar to his vest and created extenders. Which the customer named them as "Fat Man Vest Extenders".
NEW THREAD!!
With the spooky season coming up I found this glow in the dark thread and tested it out on a customized name patch.
Tye-Dye Mask
During the pandemic a customer saw my military face mask and ask me to make them one that would go with everything.
Treat & Poop Bag
I trained my dogs to the best of my ability, by using training treats. While taking them out on walks they would train and sometimes "go" in public. I made this to not only hold the treats but also bags to clean the messes.
Knife Sheath
Once you get to know me you will realize that I don't go anywhere without at least two knifes on me. With that in mind, my pockets cant always carry them, I handmade this small sheath.
Dog Bed & Pillow
My husband and I have to share the bed with each other, so I figured instead of adding my two dogs to the bed or spending money on a bed they may not like. I made them a bed with a small pillow that my puppy ended up stealing!
Military Face Mask
During Covid-19, we were all forced to wear these masks. I just wore mine with style in honor of our troops. It was also reversible and the filter on the inside could be changed.
The Big Dog
This stuffed animal was on his last thread, almost literally. I repaired this poor guy more times then I would like to remember. Putting the stuffing back in and sewing him up was challenging because of the size but I got him fixed up.
Sweet 16
Remembrance Cuff
A customer was getting married and her future father in law passed before the wedding. She wanted to put his ashes into something special for her future husband. Something he could wear while riding the motorcycle.
Child Vest & Chaps Set
A previous customer heard that I custom made vests for some children once and wanted to know if I could do a vest and chaps set for their child.
Arm Wallet
I was experimenting with measurements and ended up with a wallet that is adjustable for the forearm. Which the customer still uses today.
Small Purse
I'm not much of a purse kind of woman, I made this small purse for a special occasion. Even with adjustable straps. This was the first purse I made with scrap leather from a coat that was damaged.
Child Trench Coat
My son didn't like his winter coats saying they didn't look cool enough, so with some time, I made him this trench coat and he wore it until he grew out of it!
Leather Purse
A customer from California sent me a photo of a purse she once had and asked if I could make one like it, but with different colors out of leather. She wanted the black and yellow purse with a separate make up pouch.
Blanket & Scrunchie
This was a gift to my daughter who loved these old clothes but they didn't fit her anymore, so I made a whole blanket and with extra material I made her a scrunchie. She was surprised to find a hidden pocket, only big enough to hold the TV remote hostage.
Hair Cuffs
These were just an experiment that ended in success! These hold back your hair, long or short! Several of these have been sold in bulk to companies that sell leather products.
Military Bean Bags
These were hand made for a local American Legion to donate as an auction gift. On a personal note, the Marine set was sold for $40.
